Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of X-ray exams, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Manage patient workflow and effectively prioritize tasks to maintain efficiency.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.

Qualifications

• Current Texas licensure as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment is required.
• Strong patient care and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to float between different units as needed.

Additional Information

• Patient ratios are not standard measures in Diagnostic Radiology; capable of imaging up to 30 patients per day.
• No on-call shifts or weekend work required.
• Department dress code includes solid navy blue scrubs for licensed personnel.
