CT Technologist

Job Summary

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Computed Tomography (CT) equipment. This role requires effective collaboration with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans for patients of various age groups, including adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents.
• Ensure accurate positioning of patients and equipment during imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to protocols for radiation safety and patient care.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient record management.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 8-hour shifts from 14:00 to 22:30, Monday to Friday, with a requirement of 2-3 weekends per month.
• Floating: Position will rotate between the main hospital and an outpatient center, with the majority of shifts at the outpatient center.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is required.
• Certifications:
  • Must possess CT certification and be ARRT certified.
• BLS: Basic Life Support certification is not required for this position.

Work Environment

This position is located in a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center, requiring experience in:

• Inpatient care
• Emergency Room settings
• Adult Intensive Care Unit
• IV administration and contrast use
