Ultrasound Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services in accordance with established protocols and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide clear explanations to patients about the procedures and what to expect.
• Document and maintain accurate records of examinations and findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide quality patient care.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:40 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Holiday Expectations

The Ultrasound Technician is required to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience.
• Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
