Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN)

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing coronary device implantation and electrophysiology procedures.

Position Details

• Start Date: October 26, with potential consideration for November starts, but not December.
• Shift: 4×10 Day schedule, 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM, with variable days off.
• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Weekend Requirement: No weekend shifts required.
• Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS.
• On-Call Requirement: No on-call duty; however, techs may sign up for “Late Stay” if procedures are ongoing.
• Floating: Possible within the hospital, but not to sister hospitals.
• Local Candidates: Accepted.
• Pending Licenses: Not accepted.
• Restrictions on Time Off: Maximum of 1 week.

Role Responsibilities

The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Administering care to patients undergoing procedures such as pacemaker and ICD implants, diagnostic electrophysiology, and ablation procedures.
• Utilizing advanced equipment for ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, and other electrophysiology procedures.
• Operating specialized technology including CARTO mapping, Abbott Precision Mapping, and using cryoablation techniques.
• Managing devices such as temporary pacemaker boxes and advanced monitoring technology.

• Biosense Webster CARTO Mapping and Ablation
• Abbott Precision Mapping and Ablation
• Cryo for certain AFib ablations
• Biotronik temporary pacemaker box
• Siemens X300 ICE machine
• Laser, Impella, IABP, PA lines (Swans), Alaris IV pump, Hemochron ACT machine

Monitoring Systems

• Utilizing GE CardioLab for patient monitoring.
