Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The Registered Nurse will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve specified outcomes.
• Implement the care plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health in a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Identify and document outcomes based on the patient’s situation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to provide effective care in a healing environment.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Effectively communicate health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate duties appropriately and coordinate the responsibilities of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Facility-specific certifications, including AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS, S.T.A.B.L.E Certification, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), are required.

Organizational Requirements
