Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our MS/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of nursing experience with expertise in IV starts and telemetry. This position involves caring for surgery patients, including those undergoing colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedic, urology, and vascular procedures.

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Contract Length: 13 weeks or longer
• Shift: Nights – 18:45 to 07:15
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours available
• Self Scheduling: Based on unit needs and with input from Nurse Manager
• Orientation: 36 hours

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted
• Certifications: BLS certification required
• Float Requirement: Occasional floating to other units may be required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Scrubs: Navy blue or white, not provided
• EKG Testing: Must pass prior to start for this specialty role

Unit Systems

Experience with systems such as Pyxis, SBAR, and EPIC is beneficial.
