Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED: Required
• Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.): Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing: Preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in gastrointestinal nursing: Required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor as per policy: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor as per policy: Required
