Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical patient care in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

Shift Information

• Type: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00 – 07:00)

Patient Care and Responsibilities

• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• Directly assess and manage patient care needs in the emergency department.
• Implement established protocols and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide support and education to patients and families regarding treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency care.
• Acceptance of first-time travelers.
• Weekend availability: required every other weekend.
• Required certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BCLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating between units required.
• Block scheduling is not accommodated.
• Local candidates accepted; pending licenses will not be accepted.
