Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Senior Behavioral Health Unit on the night shift. This is a travel position with a contract duration of 13 weeks.

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
• Utilize effective de-escalation techniques to manage patient behavior.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document patient care and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques, specifically SAMA or CPI, is required.
• Previous experience in a gero psych unit is necessary.
• Recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health setting within an acute care environment is essential.
