Special Procedures Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting interventional radiology procedures and assisting physicians in various special procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of vascular and coronary angiography.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional call responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist medical doctors as required.
• Utilize Cerner software for patient management and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with a minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures.
• Prior experience in catheterization techniques.

Holiday Expectations

Must work two major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day, as well as one minor holiday: the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
