Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. In this role, you will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff, and collaborate with other healthcare disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients’ health, analyzing data and care issues, developing intervention plans, and evaluating progress toward outcomes. This position also includes providing education to patients and families, participating in discharge planning, and coordinating care delivery.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Experience: Acute care facility experience – Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS – Required
  • AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS – Required

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement the care plan and coordinate care delivery, ensuring a safe environment.
• Evaluate patients’ progress toward achieving outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering care in a compassionate environment.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
