Registered Nurse (RN) / Swing Bed RN

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment in Swing Bed services. This role requires flexibility, as the nurse will be floating within their scope of practice and clinical competency in both Rehabilitation and Med/Surg units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Swing Bed settings.
• Float between Rehabilitation and Med/Surg units as needed.
• Participate in the care planning process and patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and provide updates to the healthcare team.
• Engage in patient education and support for patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ability to float between units based on clinical competency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

This travel assignment requires day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The role includes requirements for floating and on-call duties, which may vary based on staffing needs.
