Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team for a 13-week contract. This position is for the night shift, working from 7 PM to 7 AM, in an 8-bed Emergency Room at a Level 4 trauma center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency setting.
• Collaborate with in-house emergency medicine boarded physicians available 24/7.
• Support a stable staffing model, which includes 2 RNs during the day shift and 2 RNs during the night shift.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer treatment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using TruBridge EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience required.
• Valid and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with an estimated monthly patient volume of 900.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
