Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role is part of a float pool for Medical Surgical units, providing essential care to adult and geriatric patients across various settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to different unit environments as needed.

Shift Details

• 12-hour Night Shifts: 19:00 – 07:30
• 36 or 48-hour shifts available.
• Weekend Coverage: Required every other weekend.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage blood products.
• Provide peripheral line care and management.
• Perform PICC line management and start IVs.
• Administer nasal cannula treatments.
• Implement isolation precautions as needed.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Omnicell medication systems.
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation systems.
• Effective communication using the SBAR format.
