Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide coordinated nursing care for patients, ensuring the highest standards are met through the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of nursing staff while collaborating with various healthcare disciplines.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to a patient or assigned group of patients, utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to achieve optimal outcomes.

Essential Functions

• Collect and analyze relevant health data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop a care plan that prescribes interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implement the care plan and coordinate care delivery, promoting health and maintaining a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and outcomes throughout the care process.
• Engage in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring patient care.
• Provide education and learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Assist in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification: Required
