Radiation Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of radiation therapy modalities and be proficient in the use of advanced equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed plans.
• Utilize Varian TruBeam linear accelerators, Halcyon systems, and Aria software (version 15) effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio License in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Vision RT or OSMS is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Conditions

The operating hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The work shift consists of 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute lunch break. During holiday weeks, 10-hour shifts may be required to ensure a full 40-hour workweek.

Dress Code

Appropriate attire for this position is scrubs, specifically black pants with any top.

Onboarding

The first week of employment will consist of onboarding training from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
