X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

This position is for a 13-week contract as an X-Ray Technologist. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with every other Saturday and Sunday required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams.
• Operate mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the State.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills are necessary.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
