Maternity Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Nights 6 PM – 6 AM; every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Maternity Registered Nurses (RNs) for 13-week travel assignments. This role involves working night shifts while providing critical care in our maternity unit. RNs will also be called upon to assist in medical-surgical duties when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to maternity patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, taking vital signs as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support patients and families, addressing their concerns and providing education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the medical-surgical unit as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on maternity care.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS.
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend.
• Willingness to provide holiday coverage as needed.

Additional Information

This position may require coverage throughout the week from Monday through Sunday, ensuring comprehensive care for patients in all situations.
