Registered Nurse – Endoscopy

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy to join our team. This role involves working in the endoscopic procedure room, as well as in pre-operative and post-operative settings. The ideal candidate will possess experience with endoscopy equipment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort for patients.
• Utilize endoscopic equipment such as snares and biopsy tools effectively.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Maintain a clean and organized procedure environment.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.

Schedule

This position requires availability for rotations every 6th or 7th weekend, as well as potentially one weekday shift from Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in endoscopy is required, including familiarity with basic endoscopic supplies and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a dynamic Digestive Health Center, focusing on patient-centered care and excellence in endoscopic procedures.
