Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details

This position offers the flexibility to work either 4×10 hour shifts or 5×8 hour shifts. The start date is as soon as possible, and shifts will vary, typically starting at either 0600 or 0730.

Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct a daily caseload of 5-12 basic nuclear medicine studies.
• Perform various types of procedures, with a primary focus on stress tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine is required.
• First-time candidates are welcome to apply.
• Weekend call is required.
• Call duties are included.
• Required certifications include:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • California State License
  • ARRT Certification
  • NMTCB Certification
• Local candidates are accepted.
• Pending State Licenses will not be accepted.

Additional Information

All time-off requests (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, with approval contingent on the facility’s needs. Guaranteed hours are applicable, though the facility reserves the right to cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks.
