Job Summary/Purpose

Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant administers physical therapy services and performs related duties, providing technical support for the effective and efficient delivery of therapy services.

Department Description

The Rehabilitation team evaluates and treats patients with injuries or conditions that have led to a decline in physical mobility or functional independence. Specialized services include orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological and stroke rehabilitation, balance and dizziness rehabilitation, and chronic pain treatment through movement. The primary goal is to facilitate a return to function and engagement in community activities.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.
