Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide acute care rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma or acute care settings and will work independently, contributing to the recovery and rehabilitation of patients in a dynamic hospital environment.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday with a requirement to work 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (Saturdays or Sundays).
• Shifts are typically from 08:00 to 16:30.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and rehabilitation services in an acute care setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Float to different departments as needed, ensuring versatile support across various patient care areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist License required (pending licenses will be considered with proof of submission).
• BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care, preferably with trauma experience.
• First-time travelers with acute care and trauma experience will be considered.

Additional Information

Travelers are expected to avoid working on holidays but may be assigned to work on either side of the holiday period. Free parking is provided for all staff.
