Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Float team. This position requires adaptability and a strong skill set to provide care across various medical and surgical units.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be assigned by the nursing supervisor to float between the following units:

• Medical Comfort Care
• Surgery and GI
• Trauma
• Medical
• Observation
• Oncology
• Medical Nephrology
• Ortho
• Joint Replacement/Ortho
• Neuro
• Vascular
• Pulmonary
• Cardiac Surgery
• Cardiac

Shifts and Hours

• Start date: ASAP
• Shift: Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Each shift is 12 hours long, with rotations including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Current and valid BLS certification is required.
• Must have an active, unencumbered Tennessee RN license or a multi-state RN license.
• Cerner EMR experience is mandatory.

Compliance Details

• Scrubs must be Royal Blue.
