Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Float team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care across various units based on staffing needs.

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Hours: 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Care Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will float to the following units:

• 12E – Medical Comfort Care
• 11E – Surgery and GI
• 10E – Trauma
• 8E – Medical
• 7S – Observation
• 5E – Medical
• 5W – Oncology
• 4S – Medical Nephrology
• 9E – Ortho
• 7E – Joint Replacement/Ortho
• 6S & 6E – Neuro
• 9H – Vascular
• 8H – Pulmonary
• 7H – Cardiac Surgery
• 4H – Cardiac

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital
• Active, unencumbered RN license in TN or multistate
• Current BLS certification is required
• Cerner EMR experience is mandatory
• First-time travelers will be considered

Compliance and Attire

Uniforms for this position will be Royal Blue scrubs.

Additional Information

Applicants should be aware that block scheduling is not offered, and requests for time off may be restricted based on staffing needs. The role does not require on-call duties.
