Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Senior Behavioral Health Unit

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Senior Behavioral Health to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This travel position requires a qualified professional ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in acute care settings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health nursing, specifically in an acute care hospital environment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Training in de-escalation techniques (SAMA or CPI) is required.
• Previous experience working in a geriatric psychiatric unit is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enhance patient interactions.

Work Schedule:

This position is designated for night shifts, with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
