Occupational Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care. The successful candidate will work in a mixed setting, with approximately 50% of the workload in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and 50% in Home Health (HH). The primary location for this role will be in the Beatrice, NE area, with coverage extending to nearby locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in both SNF and HH settings.
• Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Ensure compliance with productivity expectations; maintain 80% productivity in SNF.
• Utilize software systems such as HCHB for Home Health and NetHealth for Skilled Nursing facilities.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and patients to foster a collaborative care environment.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Work Schedule

This position offers day shifts, with scheduling that may vary. A guarantee of 36 hours per week is provided.

• Local placements may be within 80 miles.
• There is a Therapy Supervisor available onsite.
• No on-call or callback duties required.
