Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

This position is for a day shift, with hours from 0645 to 1815. The average patient volume is 40, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress and care interventions.
• Educate patients and families on health management and emergency care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Uniform Requirements

The designated scrub color for this position is royal blue.
