Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical emergency setting and possess the necessary certifications to meet state requirements prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Must meet all required certifications prior to the start date.
• Familiarity with the Tennessee Abuse Registry is mandatory.

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be located at least 60 miles away to qualify as travelers. All clinical staff must be compliant with the required certifications, and results must be submitted before the start date.
