Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of strong general emergency department experience and superb references from previous managers or directors.

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Night shifts (4×12-Hour)
• Shift Hours: 19:00 – 07:30
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC
• CEN certification preferred
• Exceptional evaluations from previous supervisory references

Job Duties

The Emergency Department provides care for a diverse range of high acuity patients, including those with:

• Oncology and cardiology needs
• Transplant histories
• Pediatric and behavioral health considerations
• Complex medical conditions including transplant and VAD patients

The department is equipped with 27 rooms and adaptable spaces for increased patient capacity during peak times.

• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking Costs: $10.26 Daily

Additional Information

Healthcare providers may be called off or placed on-call during periods of low census without additional charge. RTO restrictions apply, limited to a maximum of 1 week. This position does not accommodate block scheduling.
