Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to join our team at a Level IV NICU. The ideal candidate will be Level IV NICU trained and comfortable providing respiratory therapy services in various settings, including Adult floors and ICUs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to neonatal patients in the Level IV NICU.
• Provide care in Adult floors and ICU as needed.
• Monitor patients’ respiratory status and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Document patient assessments and responses to treatments in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.
• Level IV NICU training is required.
• Active Washington State Respiratory license.
• National certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current BLS certification.

Schedule and Work Environment

• Shift: 3×12 hours, Night shifts (19:00 – 07:30).
• Weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs.
• Floating within the hospital may be necessary; however, floating to sister facilities is not required.
• This position does not require on-call duties.

• Uniform: Scrubs of any color, provided for OR personnel.
• Charting System: EPIC.
