Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or designated groups of patients, adhering to established care standards and the nursing process. The successful candidate will supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and engage in comprehensive care coordination across disciplines.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to provide high-quality patient care. This role includes collecting and analyzing health data, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient progress to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data concerning patients’ health and situations.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote a safe and healthy environment.
• Evaluate progress toward patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to offer comprehensive care.
• Provide educational support for patients and families as well as team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate and oversee duties of healthcare team members effectively.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale: Required
