Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role requires supervising and directing the activities of assigned nursing staff, while also coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patient health, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating progress.

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
• Develop and implement care plans with prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate and deliver care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Evaluate patient progress towards health outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver compassionate care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately among healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Acute care facility experience – Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification – Required
