MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac care and demonstrate proficiency in managing patients in medical, surgical, and observation units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the MS/Tele and Tele units.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions using advanced monitoring systems.
• Assist in the care of patients requiring overflow management.
• Participate in regular bed meetings to address patient care needs and staffing requirements.
• Utilize the Avasure video monitoring system to oversee patient safety.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital protocols using Cerner.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 4×12 hour day shift schedule, covering weekends as needed. Travelers may be assigned to two different units based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably with cardiac experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Cerner or Epic documentation systems is preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Additional Information

All staff members must be prepared to adapt to unit needs during bed meetings and provide coverage for breaks within the Avasure office. The position involves guaranteed hours, with expectations for flexibility in response to shift cancellations or facility closures.
