CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissues that are critical in diagnosing medical conditions. This role also involves performing various imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality imaging results.
• Perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for individuals ranging from adolescence to geriatrics.
• Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation by radiologists.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to the designated locations.
• Maintain precise records and billing information.
• Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, managing supply inventory as necessary.
• Fulfill additional job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice: Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in some states, Preferred in others
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials

Organizational Requirements

All associates are required to receive all necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available. Participation in E-Verify is required.
