Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Adult Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a critical setting, ensuring their wellbeing and safety during emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver immediate nursing care to patients in the emergency room.
• Assess patient conditions, triage emergencies, and perform necessary interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and record vital signs and medical histories.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and necessary follow-up care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in an emergency room or critical care setting preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.

Work Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekly rotation will occur every other week.
