Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in the electrophysiology lab. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will play a key role in patient education, preparation, and recovery during electrophysiology procedures.

Schedule

• Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• On-call requirements: 1 or 2 Saturdays on call (07:00 – 12:00) within a 6-week schedule
• Annual holiday on-call duty
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays

Time Off

• Approval of up to 40 hours of requested time off (RTO)

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology or related setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during electrophysiology procedures
• Assist with patient assessment, education, and post-procedure care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
