Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential care to residents, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Adhere to established care plans and assist with recreational activities.
• Utilize specialty equipment as needed, including wound vacs.
• Provide support for residents with common diagnoses, including MS, ortho issues, dementia, and memory care.
• Participate in required training and staff meetings.

Work Schedule:

Shifts will be from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Please note that block scheduling is not guaranteed, and there may be a requirement to float within the same building. Weekend coverage is required, adhering to every other weekend (EOW) rotations. A standard of 37.5 hours is guaranteed weekly.

Qualifications:

• Active New York Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Long-Term Care facility.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically PointClick Care.
• Valid driver’s license with an address matching demographics.
• Fingerprinting may be required.
