Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of nursing staff while collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will perform clinical assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will use critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure safe and effective care delivery.

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data related to the patient’s health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans, prescribing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Provide health information and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Facilitate learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility – Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor – Required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification – Required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course completed at hire and every two years for experienced nurses – Required
