Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care for maternity patients and normal newborns.
• Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinate patient care activities with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion in patient care decisions.

Requirements

Work Schedule

• Night Shift – 36 or 48 hours per week.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility – preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification – required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification – required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor – required.

Additional Information

This role excludes care for gynecology patients and does not include labor and delivery services.
