Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in circulating within the operating room. The ideal candidate will have expertise in orthopedic, spine, and neurological surgeries, demonstrating the ability to perform independently. Additional scrub experience, especially in complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during orthopedic, spine, and neurological surgical procedures.
• Exhibit proficiency in independent performance within the operating room.
• Assist as a scrub nurse when needed, particularly in complex cases.
• Participate in on-call duties, consisting of at least one weekend per month.
• Be available for mandatory overtime as required to maintain unit coverage.
• Maintain flexibility regarding shift hours, adapting to varying start times throughout the day.
• Travel to different departments or facilities within a 30-mile radius as necessary, based on clinical competence.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in a surgical operating room as an RN or a combination of relevant OR experience.
• Required circulating experience; scrub experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Comfort and experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to handle time-off requests minimally during assignment, subject to prior approval.
• Willingness to accept medical or religious exemptions related to COVID-19 vaccination.
