Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in an operating room setting, with a strong focus on circulating for orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical procedures. Scrub experience is highly preferred, especially in complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate during orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical surgeries, demonstrating independent performance as outlined in the checklist.
• Utilize surgical expertise to assist with complex cases, including DiVinci robotic surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of care and adhere to established protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of operating room RN experience or combined operating room experience.
• Proven experience in circulating for orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical procedures.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred, particularly in complex neuro and spine surgeries.
• Comfort with DiVinci robotic surgical cases is preferred.

Work Schedule:

The RN will have variable hours based on departmental needs, including shifts starting at 7 AM, 9:30 AM, or 1 PM. On-call duties will be required, with the expectation of working at least one weekend each month and rotating weekends and holidays as needed. Mandatory overtime may be required to ensure adequate coverage.

Additional Information:

All scrubs will be provided for the duration of the assignment. Time off requests must be approved and kept to a minimum during the assignment. The RN may be reassigned to different departments or facilities within 30 miles of the originally assigned location, based on their clinical competence.
