PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will provide exceptional care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage a variety of cases effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs and respond to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.

Schedule

This position offers a 4×10-hour day shift with rotating days off. There is no on-call requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Strong experience in a PACU setting is essential.
• Proven ability to handle a variety of cases identified in the Unit Description.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.
