Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

This role is on a busy Medical Surgical/Telemetry floor, providing essential care to patients in a dynamic environment. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of practice.

Schedule

• 3×12 hour shifts, 18:45 – 07:15

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and document changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individual care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Adhere to infection control practices and safety regulations.
• May be required to float to other Medical Surgical/Telemetry units or low acuity ICU as needed.

Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Active Tennessee or compact nursing license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required; travel experience is preferred.
• Epic experience within the last 18 months is a requirement; must be detailed on the application.

Additional Information

If the traveler does not pass the Epic test-out on site, an additional 10 unbillable orientation hours will be added to the contract.
