Shift: Day, 5×8-Hour (07:00 – 15:30), Monday – Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians who are proficient in all aspects of sterile processing. The ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage processes within a high-volume, Level One trauma facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate surgical instruments, including drills, da Vinci systems, and scopes.
• Assemble instruments across multiple service lines, with attention to trauma and loaner instruments, and ensure proper peel packaging.
• Perform sterilization processes using both Sterrad and steam methods.
• Handle high-level disinfection and possess scope experience.
• Maintain sterile storage areas in compliance with safety standards.
• Serve as an OR liaison to facilitate communication and instrument availability.
• Utilize the Censitrac tracking system for instrument management.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Medivator systems.

Qualifications

• Certification required: either CBSPD or CRCST.
• Experience working in a similar high-volume, Level One trauma facility is essential.
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and safety protocols.
