Ultrasound Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including General, OBGYN, and Vascular studies, while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Shift Details

• 4×10 hour shifts with variable days
• Shifts typically scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call responsibilities to include 1-2 nights per week and every third weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations for various modalities, such as General, OBGYN, and Vascular imaging
• Assist with procedures, drains, and biopsies as required
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety
• Accurately record and maintain patient data in the electronic medical records system (EMR)
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS
• Experience with General and OBGYN imaging; Vascular experience is preferred

Department Information

• Equipped with 4 ultrasound rooms
• Utilizes Fuji EPIC for electronic medical records
• Department specific orientation provided

Additional Information

• Any professional color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs are not provided
• No requirement to float to other areas
• Radiologist on-site except during call hours
