Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, including monitoring vital signs and fetal heart tones.
• Assist in the delivery process and ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Float between different units as needed, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Course.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
