NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract with potential for extension. The role requires holiday coverage and the ability to float to other departments as needed. Candidates should be flexible and able to work minimal to no requests for time off.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level IV NICU environment.
• Assist with assessments, interventions, and evaluations of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other departments and locations within a 12-mile radius as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience.
• Level IV NICU experience is required.
• Proficient in using EPIC documentation.
• Recent travel nursing experience is required.

Certifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.

Shift Details

This position is for day shifts, consisting of three 12-hour workdays from 07:00 to 19:00.
