Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for critically ill newborns, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting.
• Monitor patient condition and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate families on care practices and health conditions related to their newborns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with standards.

Required Qualifications

• 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (within the last 3 years).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
• Demonstrated experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within the last ten (10) years).
