Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient health, vital signs, and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Assist with procedures and provide life-saving measures as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health issues and care plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning.
• Float to Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Emergency Room as needed for Critical Care holds.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• TNCC or TCAR certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
• A minimum of 6 hours of stroke education is required (training can be provided if needed).
• Completion of an EKG course is required (training can be provided if needed).
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.

Schedule

Full-time positions available with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Day shift with 4×12-hour block schedules.
