Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. As a crucial member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality care to residents while maintaining a safe and supportive environment during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring all medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Shift Details

This position involves night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, working every third night, including the night before holidays.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: 34.5 hours per week.
• This role includes a 36-hour guarantee for 12-hour shifts and a 40-hour guarantee for 8 to 10-hour shifts each week.
• Important to note: Local placements available within an 80-mile radius.
• Note that there is a specified fee for cancellations with less than 14 days’ notice.
